It’s not always easy to select the right person for the right job at the right time. Often agencies find themselves at a loss to fill a position, especially when a vacancy is unexpected. This course will take you through a step by step process of how to strategically select employees at all levels, for all positions, starting with your hiring process. We will explore how to find the right fit for FTO/CTO, skill instructors, specialty units and acting supervisor positions. We will also examine why directly assessing for character and strengths is critical in all processes, review why past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior and explain how to directly assess for this. Finally, we will explore how you can tweak your promotional process to get your “best” leaders to the top of your list.
